Good Supreme Homemade Pizza
To make the crust:
Warm a mixing bowl in the microwave for 40-50 seconds. Take it to the counter. In your bowl add :
1 cup water (hot around 105 to 112 degrees)
1 Tbs granulated sugar
1 Tbs active dry yeast (expired yeast won't work)
Stir together gently. Cover and leave for 5 to 10 minutes to let the yeast bloom (get frothy and bubbly).
When bubbly, gently add 1 Tbs of Olive Oil and stir.
Add 1 cup 0.0 Pizza flour and 1 cup All Purpose flour
Get out and extra 1/2 cup of either flour to adjust your dough later. Dough is sticky at first, but add in a little flour until it doesn't stick to you. Set aside in a bowl lightly greased with olive oil. Cover for a few minutes while getting your other ingredients ready.
The goodies: Whatever you like on your pizza!
This is my list:
Pizza sauce, your favorite.
Ground beef (cooked and drained)
Italian sausage (cooked and drained)
Bacon bits (real bacon bits)
Canadian bacon (or breakfast ham)
Onion
BellPepper
Black olives
Jalapeno pepper
Mushrooms
Mozzarella and Provolene Cheese
Mozzarella (Fresh slices)
All toppings are to your liking!
Now heat a pizza stone or your pan at 450-500 for at least 10 minutes.
Cut out a parchment paper circle or rectangle to fit your pan. Place a small amout of olive oil in the middle and place your dough in the center. Stretch your dough or roll it to fir your pan. Now add ingredients.
First though sprinkle dough lightly with oregano, and other spices you love. Add the sauce, meats, veggies and cheese, cheese, cheese in between the layers.
Use a peel or a flat baking sheet to add your pizza to the pre-heated pizza stone. Leave the parchment paper to help retrieve your pizza from the oven.
CAREFUL here or you will lose part of your pizza to the floor!
Baking time in my oven is around 13 to 15 minutes @ 450-500.Watch carefully or you will burn it easily! Check the bottom of the crust for doneness.
Enjoy! And let me know if you tried this recipe!
